I use my PCs for various purposes: personal use, web mastering,
and research. I also have an Apple iBook G4 upgraded to Leopard from
OS-X. My "dangle" PCs are used to repair other peoples PCs using a master/slave
configuration on infected PCs. The master/slave configuration
may be use for
retrieving data on hard drives that will not boot. All the PCs, except two, were given to me; the two were purchased at garage sales. |
 Pictured is my "Dangle" PC; it is used as a Master PC when I need to remove an infected hard drive (slave). Then I run the scans from this PC to remove malware from the hard drive. Also used for data recovery. Notice the cover is open so that another hard drive can be easily connected. |
